Brendan and Victoria Johnstone started Postbox Cards and Parties in June 2009.

Victoria, attained a BEd Hons degree, specializing in Art and Design. She then became a primary school teacher for 12 years until starting a family. Now both children are at school, Victoria has realized her dream of using her art as the designer of Postbox Cards, a business that can fit around the pressures of running a family and bringing up young children. All the artwork for the current range was produced by Victoria.

Brendan has a background of project management, both from his years in the RAF and more recently running his own company in the building industry. Brendan has made use of his interest in photography to produce the images used on the current range of cards.

Brendan and Victoria enjoy living and working in Cornwall with their two children, Maddie and Ryan, and an oversized labradoodle named Barley. They make the most of the outdoor life in Cornwall, hiking all year round and camping in the spring and summer on the North Coast for the beaches and surfing.

The third member of the family business is Brendan's mum, Ann Johnstone. Ann has used her extensive experience in sales administration and office management to help set up the office systems and accounts. Ann was very pleased that some of her own photos were judged good enough to be used in the Postbox Cards portfolio.

The logo, designed by Victoria, combines the distinctive image of the Victorian postbox with Cornwall's iconic surf and seascape
